RESTORING TRUST

RESTORING TRUST
How can it be done?

Bring back; government of the people, by the people, for the people.

Things the Congress needs to do:

A good start to this goal is in the House and Senate now with 150 cosponsors in the House and 18 cosponsors in the Senate. It is the Fair Elections Now Act – which allows a candidate to collect small donations up to $100 until he is qualified, and then those small donations will be matched 4 to 1 up to a certain amount. If a participating candidate is facing a well-financed or self-financed opponent, they will be able to respond by utilizing this matching fund provision.

This bill is not perfect but it is far better than the broken system we have today. We need to get this bill passed this year.

Break up the too big to exist banks.

Pass effective regulation of all financial institutions.

SUNSHINE:
There are far too many secrets in our present government. Other than military plans and capabilities, there are very few reasons to keep secrets from our citizens. If there are things we are doing that we do not want known; maybe we should not be doing them.

What can you and I do to restore citizens trust in our government?

We must contact our representatives in Congress and remind them who it is, that they represent in a democratic Republic.

We should keep ourselves informed about these and all important issues.

Vote, not for a political party but, for a candidate you can trust.

Support IRV, Instant Runoff Voting, also called Ranked Choice Voting, same system, different characteristics. Some members of the R&D parties do not like it, because it gives Independents and third parties a better chance at winning without huge financing.
It also saves taxpayers the expenses of runoff elections.
